Working together in groups is the beauty of Islam. Yet, while working collectively across various sectors, we engage in baseless competition among ourselves. One group attacks another with sarcastic remarks, dismissing each other's appeals and contributions. We fail to accept one another, nor are we willing to make compromises—even though every group works for Islam. On the other hand, over very trivial reasons, abnormal incidents like criticizing the organization or defecting from it take place. Factions, sub-groups, or authoritarian leadership emerge within the exact same group. The presence of this ugliness is found everywhere—in Islamic political parties, social organizations, and voluntary associations.
What is the way out of this?
In the light of the Quran, Hadith, logic, and reality, that very path has been outlined in the book Work Together.
