Professor Dr. Engineer Md. Jahangir

Professor Dr. Engr. Md. Jahangir Alam was born in 1974 in Kanchana Union of Satkania Upazila, Chattogram District. He is widely known as an earthquake expert and civil engineer. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He is the founder of Qlearn, one of Bangladesh’s well-known e-learning platforms. One of his key goals is to contribute to improving the skills and professional capabilities of civil engineers in Bangladesh. At the same time, he works to help people achieve success in both their personal and professional lives. Professor Dr. Engr. Md. Jahangir Alam has faced numerous challenges throughout his life. By navigating a difficult and often challenging journey, he has gained practical experience in dealing with various hardships and crises. His many experiences of both success and failure in his professional life have provided him with the insight and inspiration to write this book. Currently, he works as a consultant on various civil engineering projects and provides professional training for engineers through online platforms. Thousands of engineers continue to benefit from his teaching, research, and practical experience. He is also continuously working to promote a proper and balanced approach to life. This book is a part of that ongoing journey.
