Dr. Imad al-Din Khalil

<p>Born in 1939 in Mosul, Iraq, Dr. Imad al-Din Khalil pursued his studies in the Department of Islamic History at the University of Baghdad. In 1968, he obtained his Ph.D. in Islamic History from Ain Shams University in Egypt.</p><p>Throughout his professional career, he served as a lecturer at the University of Mosul, chairman of the Department of Antiquities, director of the Cultural Museum Library, and senior research fellow at the General Directorate of Museums and Antiquities. Later, he also held the position of Professor of Islamic History at Salahaddin University in Erbil, Iraq.</p><p>Professor Khalil was a regular contributor to publications of ISESCO (the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization of the OIC). In addition, he authored more than 50 books on Islamic thought, methodology, history, as well as literature and literary criticism.</p>
